you know, you should blog if you feel like it and write it for you, first and foremost. if people dig it great, if not you had your say and got it off of your chest and out of your system.

you suffered through my wall-of-text steam-of-consciousness rambling and i know i read a good handful of longer posts or journal-entries on DA. moreover, the other blogs that i do read i just happened upon accidentally or had them suggested to me by a friend. a few don't really have too many or any comments and replies, but i still read them and think they have their niche audience. these folks seem to be writing just to be able to put it out into the air and on record. having lots of folks feels good, sure, but it's just gravy.

I always felt that writing was a good way to get things of your chest, whether people read it or not. So really if YOU want to write, then do it, your BOUND to find readers as time goes on, whether it be here or on a regular blog. But if you find it harder to read big blocks of text on dA, well I can't help ya with that :-P

Some people I know will post their journal on both dA AND their own blog, kills two birds with one stone cuz there's bound to be readers that stick to one or the other and you can get them ALL.

Also, keep in mind that some people will read but never comment no matter what, lol

I hope that made sense of some sort, I'm tired and starting to stop thinking clearly, lol :-P
