Use of IWGP Titles in TNA

So, I am a rather big fan of Pro Wrestling (as many of you may have guessed) and I have, for a long time, loved Japanese Pro Wrestling, also known as Puroresu. TNA, Total Nonstop Action, is my current favourite televised American wrestling fed (while I love Ring of Honor, and they do have a sort of TV deal, I have no access to HDNet, the channel they are on, and nor do many people on many networks, so I don't consider it a properly televised show). TNA does, yes, suffer from the WCW-syndrome (Great tag team division, great lightweight division, silly and often boring heavyweight division) andthey have a talent sharing program with NJPW, a.k.a. New Japane Pro Wrestling (or, if you wanna be more of a geek, Shin Nihon Puroresu...but that is me just acknowledging that I know a bit of japanese and can understand some of what the ring announcers say, I have never seen any merchandise or logos with anything other than NJPW).

In January at NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom III TNA's Team 3D (also known as the Dudley Boys) and the Motor City machine Guns (the ever lovable Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin)won the NJPW titles for the Tag Team and Junior Tag Team divisions (the IWGP Tag and IWGP Jr tag titles, respectively).

These titles, which have been held by some of the most incredible wrestlers EVER, have been incorporated into storylines in TNA with Beer Money Inc. and the team of No Limit.

At Lockdown there were two title matches for these belts and they were both rather great matches, with many fun spots and such but....I had a problem with one of them. One of these matches broke my logic.

Motor City machine Guns vs. No Limit vs. LAX
Now, what is wrong with this, you may ask?
Well, the match was for the IWGP Jr tag belts and LAX is comprised of Homicide, a lightweight, and Hernandez, an incredibly talented and agile heavyweight aptly nicknamed SuperMex. The problem with this is that, even amidst the amazing match, I knew that LAX could not win (no matter how much Don West tried to say that Hernandez agility and such made him a viable contender). It made the match actually unbelievable, to a degree, because the only teams that could actually win the belts were the MCMGs and No Limit...and that is if NJPW even recognized the match as official.

In the day and age of the internet and global exposure, people need to try harder to pull the wool over my eyes.

So, just me pondering on wrestling.
If you like TNA check out :iconbogyeong:'s awesome wrestling characatures.
Maybe No Limit will appear in that gallery soon.
