That's not really french for "The Update" but I figured I needed something "fresh" and "hip" to get you suckers to read this, sue me.

Well, I'm still unemployed despite my earlier efforts. Unfortunately with the way things "work" out here, there's no point in me looking until I heal up a bit more. 99% of all non-mennial/kitchen jobs (i.e. cashiers etc.) go to pretty, blonde, dumb girls. Until I feel confident my wrist won't give out on me while I'm lifting something, there's no point in looking for a job just to get fired. Man, small town life is growing old.

I've been playing around A LOT with Spore Creature Creator. I splurged 10$ for the full version after having oodles of fun with the demo and deciding 10$ was cheap enough for me to justify infinite fun. I thoroughly reccomend everyone get it, at least the trial version.

I love Disturbed's newest album, I need to buy it as soon as I'm getting monies in. Also been listening to Golden Earring a lot lately.

I've got a cool Jam planned but I'm just ot entirely certain on how besat to do it up, considering the rip-roaring LACK of entries my last Jam got. My band contest is still running, and it'll likely get extended a good while. 3 entries is not enough to get me sated...

Man, I must be boring y'all eh?

hey nuke, sorry to hear of your recent injury and of small town life getting you down. i am very sorry also to hear about your cat michael. our own beloved sulcata tortoise died in february. i had gotten him for my girlfriend as a birthday present and we honestly both loved him like he was our own son. sulcatas can live for as long as 60-80 years and get to be as large as 2 and 1/2 feet long, so we were hoping we would have him into old-age. sadly, he fell ill and had to be put to sleep. i even snuck a tribute cameo to him into the upcoming powerglide anniversary mosaic. my condolences, sir.

if you're the only one left of your friends in town, there's always the possibility of leaving town, no? you could track down one of your closer friends who has left and suggest crashing with him or her for a bit until you're on your feet in a new city. i'm grew up in nyc but a lot of the people i know there now have moved in the last 5 years or so and are really loving it. greyhound tickets aren't too bad, depending on where you're headed. not suggesting of course that you move to new york, what with the cost of living being as ridiculous as it is, but there are a lot of options. the urban areas of canada that i've visited have been a pretty good time.

Well, I'm not going to be moving out of home till I'm done University. But I might spend next summer living in Montreal with a friend, pay some small rent and work a steady job. But I don't like to plan that far ahead. Posatulate, but not plan. After Uni I'm betting on moving clear across the country. I've got some friends in British Columbia.

I'm sorry to hear about your tortoise, mate. Death sucks. Just gotta not let it kill you too.

Speaking of Mosaics, I'm making progress on my script. Been hard to be creative when I'm so bummed, and this summer's sucked, but I'm coming out of my funk.
