Things hadn't been going to plan. The Mexican Firebird's body was weary and he had lost fights in unexpected ways. Certainly he did have several good victories under his belt in 's tournament, but his body was starting to feel the effects of subsequent combats...but he WOULD win. He was El Aguila Ardiente, trained by El Mascara Ardiente! There were no forces he could not overcome. He had been through far worse and still comew out on top!

However, to his surprise, his next opponent was the future-person Vigil, managed by the mysterious ! He had been pitted against a woman! The Masked Mexican Master of Matwork would not harm a woman! But, in a flash and before he could resign the match, the naive Vigil lashed out with her mind, attempting to shut down the Burning Eagle before he COULD act!

This would be her undoing!
